About Carters Flower Shop

Carters Flower Shop is the oldest full service florist in Farmville. Since the early 1950's we have joined our customers in celebrating their lifetime events by providing the finest flowers and superior service. We are located at 711 West Third Street, very near to Centra Southside Community Hospital, Longwood University and all local funeral homes. Our experienced designers are creative and innovative and go the extra mile to meet the needs of our customers. We carry a wide variety of the freshest flowers from around the world and carefully process them to maximize freshness and longevity. We pride ourselves in our quality designs for all occasions. Our specialties include custom, traditional and contemporary designs, in fresh or silk, Virginia gourmet food baskets, and we also carry many unique gift items, including wooden bowls, wine stoppers and wooden chargers, all made by Virginia artisans. Carters is a member of the Farmville Chamber of Commerce, the Society of American Florists, the Virginia Professional Florists Association, and the Independent Florist Association. In addition to Farmville, we serve many neighboring communities including Hampden-Sydney, Rice, Cumberland, Dillwyn, and Prospect. We deliver daily to Centra Southside Community Hospital, Longwood University, and Hampden-Sydney College, With a two-time Virginia Designer of the Year and Master Designer on staff and a total of 125 years of design experience, we are confident that we can meet our customers demands for quality, style and service. Carters Flower Shop delivery policy

A local delivery fee of $7.00 - $25.00 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 12:00 noon in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day. We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it. We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed. We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.
